I have always wanted a blog, but the reason I started blogging was because of my son Emmett. Emmett Jude Locke was born February 8th, 2018 via Emergency c-section. He was born at the hospital where I work as a Neonatal Intensive Care registered nurse. He did not breathe right away, and was placed on a ventilator. Shortly after he started to do better, and we thought we were out of the woods. We were wrong. Emmett crashed the next night and was life lined to a near by Children’s hospital. After getting so many questions about his status I started a blog. I used the blog as a journal and posted his birth story and updates. I am posting the link here if anyone wants to know Emmett’s story!
